About Lynda

Art has the power to change everything — it changed mine.

I started my career following in my parents’ footsteps, attending Medical School — never imagining that motherhood would completely shift my path. As a child, I was always drawn to drawing, coloring, and making things with my hands, though it took raising three children who fearlessly pursued their own dreams to give me permission to pursue mine.

Four years ago, I enrolled in my first art class at North Lake College in Dallas. What began as curiosity quickly became a calling. I fell in love with India ink and charcoal, explored watercolor and acrylic, joined the Photography Club and WEOTA (We Express Ourselves Through Art), and began showing my work at galleries and art shows across Dallas. My work has been featured in art magazines and I continue to grow under the guidance of an incredible arts community.

Nature and the human figure are recurring themes — birds, botanicals, portraits, and the quiet moments of daily life. I use traditional materials like ink, charcoal, and oils, and often incorporate collage, fabric, and mixed media to create texture and depth. My work has moved from representational to increasingly non-representational over time, and I love where that journey is taking me. I find beauty in the ordinary, and my goal is to help others see it too.

I am grateful every day to be part of the art community in Dallas. This journey is just beginning.”
